Ms. Amita Jay Jasani

Ms. Amita Jasani is an independent woman director of the Company since August 2019 and is now into her second consecutive term.
She is an Advocate with over 36 years’ rich and diverse experience in handling litigations in the High Court at Bombay, National Company Law Tribunal District Courts and Arbitral Tribunals.
Amita has a degree in commerce from the H. R. College of Commerce and Economics, University of Mumbai and graduated in the year, 1985. She is a practicing Advocate. She pursued LL.B. from the Government Law College, Mumbai and graduated in the year 1988. She is enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.
She has been with the firm, Purnanand & Co., since the year, 1988 and is now a partner. She represented many high-profile clients in civil litigation including in the areas of real estate, commercial disputes, tax and intellectual property. She also specializes in dispute resolution.
She also advises clients on transfer of property matters (by way of sale/purchase, mortgage, lease, exchange and gift) and structuring, drafting and negotiating land development documentation including, inter alia, on the entire gamut of laws, regulations and policies.
She does not hold directorship and full-time position in any other body corporates.
